MEDITATION

Meditation is state of mind wherein a person reaches out to his sub conscious self. Our day today life is filled with stress and strains. We tend to forget the importance of inner peace and health of our mind. RULES FOR MEDITATION PRACTISE:
To experience meditation in better way one has to follow certain rules and preparations. Some important of them are as below.


TIME:

The best period of the day for the practise of meditation is early morning. From two-hour twenty-four minuets before sunrise, till the time of sunrise, called as Brahmi muhurta is very good to experience meditation. In this time the body and mind and body are in relaxed state. So for all type of meditation practises this time is good.

DURATION:

Every day one has to practise at least 15 minutes meditation. And regularity is very important to get progress in practice.

SITTING POSTION:

The best postures for the practise of meditations are Padmasana, Vajrasana, swastikasana, siddasana. But in beginning days you may feel difficult any of these postures, just sit with crossed legs.
Never sit in the cold floor, Place a blanket beneath you. Traditionally the deer or tigers skin was using for meditation purpose.

CLOTHING:

The clothing for mediation is depends on climatic condition. But one should wear comfortable flexible cloths.

DIRECTION:

Sitting facing towards East is good, one should not sit facing towards south for meditation, and all other directions are allowed.

SEQUENCE:

If you are doing mediation as a part of Yoga session every day, meditation has to do at the last of practise; first one has to do postures, then breathing exercise, at last meditation. If one follows these sequences its effect will be surely more.
